On February 1st, 1959, the visionary pioneer, Palle Knudsen, started his own business in the old gas plant in Præstø. Primarily, the production consisted of plastic hoses for pneumatics.
Since then the buildings have housed a growing company, still working according to the same good and sound principles: production focusing on flexibility, quality and innovation.
Vision and expansion
Palle Knudsen’s visions quickly made expansion necessary, and the company grew steadily through the 60’s and 70’s.
In spite of oil crisis and governmental constraining measures, the success called for investments in new production equipment and buildings in order to meet the increasing demands.
Energy and innovation
In 1990 the 2nd generation, Christian Knudsen, took over management, and as per 1994 he became the owner of the company.
Christian Knudsen energetically introduced new innovation; among other things he initiated production of profiles for the conveyor industry.
